The Luminoscope PLA 20: -
Precision headlight testing that defines the testing standards.
Because of the dramatic improvements in headlight technology VOSA have introduced the new PLA20 and PLA5 headlight testers in all 180 VOSA testing facilities in the UK.
These specified headlight testers are highly recommended for all existing MOT sites, commercial vehicle workshops, DP testing stations, CD workshops and body shops.
The Luminoscope PLA20 Features: -
• Alignment by means of a rota table positioner stand and large alignment mirror.
• Counter weight in the stand makes for an easy up-and-down movement of the optical head.
• Equipped with extra large lens (to deal with more complex and modern forms of headlights.)
• Stability is guaranteed by a specially designed column section.
• Red and green indicator lamps indicate the direction of the light beam and how it should be adjusted.
• Meter indicates light intensity.
• Optional RS232 available.
• 6 monthly Beissbarth calibration service recommended.
The PLA20 brings detailed precision to the testing and aiming of all types of headlights – high beam, low beam and fog lights – including all headlights incorporating the latest technological advances.
